 What’s new at Dunham Farm?

The Velvet Hollow Sugar Works sugar house is complete and the section of the building includes a kitchen that is almost complete and will be gluten free!

We had our first successful maple season in 2011. Click on the Maple page of our site for more information and photos.

Click on the Living Gluten Free page to find out about a series of workshops that will be offered – from Dunham Farm – in June, 2012, as well as gluten free products. Holding the GF workshops here will make it possible for each participant to make and take what they have prepared. It will also be a retreat-like atmosphere where attendees can take a nice walk on our trails or sit and enjoy the view.

We will also be offering a workshop on Living Off the Grid with Solar. See the news page for more information as it becomes available.

We added three new hives last spring; lost one to a hungry bear. Another hive survived the raid, but spent the entire summer and fall rebuilding its hive and comb.

“I attended a Gluten Free class offered in my area given by Suzanne. At the time I was feeling quite overwhelmed physically and emotionally from dealing with the various issues that can happen when going undiagnosed for a long time. The information and sensitivity that was given in the class was tremendous. I not only gained knowledge of living Gluten free but was also much less confused about all the conflicting information. Suzanne tells it like it is and sets a very positive role model for eating and living gluten free! “   - Donna
